Good morning and a most blessed Thursday to you. Let's read from Psalm 150. "Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his mighty firmament. Praise him for his mighty deeds. Praise him according to his surpassing greatness. Praise him with trumpet sound. Praise him with lot and harp. Praise him with tambourine and dance. Praise him with strings and pipe. Praise him with clanging cymbals. Praise him with loud clashing cymbals. Let everything that breathes Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord."

I had to praise the Lord with you this morning. Praise God for his goodness. Praise God for his generosity. Praise him for his Spirit of love that pours forth through his people. I love a good show and tell.

You know that. And you may notice that in the Family Life center here at Living Word there is table after table after table of donations that came in for the Thanksgiving food drive. And I give great thanks to God because, you know, he allows us the opportunity to love others, to share with others, and to share his generosity with others. And it is so exciting to think that there are families that are going to receive this abundant blessing and that they will have healthy, good food on their tables as they give thanks to the Lord for the blessings that he provides. And it's such an honor and such a privilege to get to be a part of his work in this community.

And I am just blown away by his goodness, blown away by what he does through you and what a gift it is to be able to share with those around us the love that we have been given and the blessings that we have been given by Christ. And so I had to start this devotion with praising the Lord because there is no better word than praise the Lord. And thank you, God, because he is indeed so good.

Heavenly Lord, thank you for your grace. Thank you for your abundant generosity. Your abundance of generosity is shown most importantly through the lifeblood that was shed for us upon the cross by your son, Jesus Christ. We thank you for the generosity of your mercy and your grace that you pour out for us and that you cover us with every single day. Lord, we thank you for the families that are going to receive the food that we have gathered. We thank you for the hands that will be preparing these various items.

And we ask that these items of food would nourish the bodies that will receive it. Lord, we thank you. We thank you that you are so good and that you have invited us to be part of your kingdom and that you have invited us to be part of your kingdom work here in our community of of Grapevine and the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Lord, help us to share your grace, help us to share your love and help us to share your kindness with everyone that we meet, whether it is through donations of this sort or through through your word of of love that we can share or through a smile through a helping hand. Lord, you are good and you are great and we know that that all things are possible through you.

And it is amazing to see to see your work through us each day. Lord, bless us and keep us always in your grace and your love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Praise the Lord for his goodness. Praise the Lord for being called as his own. And praise the Lord for this new day and all the good that awaits us until I see you for worship on Sunday. God bless.
