Good morning, and a most blessed Thursday to you.

As I was traveling over the past couple of weeks, one of the things I really enjoyed—especially in the airports and in the various places I visited in Florida—was people watching.

It was absolutely incredible to hear the various languages being spoken and to see the different cultures represented. Everywhere I looked, there were people from different places and backgrounds.

And I thought, This is amazing—the incredible variety of people who are out there.

And then I thought about the fact that the same Lord loves us all the same.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, died for all of our sins.

And yet, not everyone we see knows the Good News. Not everyone knows that their sins have been forgiven in Christ.

And to know that the promise that lies ahead—the promise we look forward to—is that we will be in the presence of Jesus with all those who have heard and believed.

That is exciting.

I thought about Revelation, where John, in his vision, is taken by the Spirit into heaven and into the presence of the throne. He shares part of what he sees in chapter 7, beginning in verse 9:

“After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands.”

We know that God's love is for all.

God's forgiveness is for all.

And we know that, in His grace and eternal wisdom, God has made it so that those who will be in His presence eternally are there because they have heard the Good News and have been called to faith through that Word by the Holy Spirit.

And so, while we people-watch and while we look at the people who are around us, let us not forget that we have been called as God's missionaries, as His ambassadors, this side of heaven, to share the Good News.

We believe because someone had that precious, precious gift that they shared with us—the Word of God. The Word that tells us our sins are forgiven in Christ and Christ alone.

So, who is God putting in your life that you get to share the Good News with?

I ask you to consider who is in your path. Who is in your life that God is encouraging you to share His Word with?

Because when, in the fullness of time, we are all gathered around the throne as that multitude of languages, that multitude of nations, that multitude of peoples, who is going to be there with us because God called us to share His Word?

We don't save.

We don't save.

It is God alone who saves.

But God uses us to share His love and to share His Word.

So I encourage you, as you go through the rest of this week, as you encounter the various people God has placed in your life, share His love. Share His Word.

Share the Good News so that they, too, can join us in the presence of Christ in that glorious, glorious eternal reality—the multitude of nations, the multitude of peoples, and the multitude of languages, all praising the one God, our one Savior, our one Lord.

Let's pray.

Heavenly Lord, we thank You so much. We thank You for those who have gone before us, who made sure that we heard Your Word and came to know the love and forgiveness that we have in You.

Lord, we ask that You would keep our eyes and our hearts open to those whom You are bringing into our lives, that we might share Your love with them, that they, too, might hear and believe.

Lord, whoever those people are, we ask that You would soften their hearts, open their ears, and open their eyes, so that they, too, can hear of Your love, know of Your goodness, and come to faith by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Lord, You are good and gracious, and we thank You. We thank You for the promise that we have—that we, together with the multitude of nations, will be in Your presence to worship You and glorify You in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we lift this to You in the holy name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.
