Pastor Malinak:  Good morning, and a most blessed Thursday to you.

I am here with my friend, Adelyn. She has been at VBS all week with me, and it has been such a great time.  Have you had fun?

Adelyn: Yes!

Pastor Malinak: We have gotten to meet various animals, who are our Bible memory buddies. Which animal did you like the best?

Adelyn: The Rabbit, Jet.

Pastor Malinak:  Adeline is part of the jackrabbit crew, and Jet is our jackrabbit friend.  Each day we have the opportunity to learn a new Bible Point.  Adelyn, what is your favorite Bible Point that you have learned? 

Adelyn:  My favorite Bible Point is: God is stronger than anything.

Pastor Malinak:  Awesome God!  It has been such an incredible week, with getting to share Jesus with these kids, and getting to introduce Jesus to some kids.  Every single day we come away knowing that we serve an awesome Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We are so grateful that we have this opportunity to minister to these kids, and see their relationships with God, and with one another grow.  It is such a wonderful testament to God and the work of His Spirit, calling us, and speaking to us, and engaging us through His Word.  We have a pretty awesome God. Don't we?

Adelyn:  Yes! 

Pastor Malinak:   You heard it straight from the youth.  We have an awesome God.  It is such a joy to be a part of His body, and His church.

Let’s pray:  Lord, we thank you so much for your awesomeness.   We thank you for this week, where we were able to share you with these kids.  We ask that as they go about the rest of their summer, that you would continue to show yourself to them. Help them see you  in nature, in their families:  that they would see you, and know you, and hear you speak to them through your Word and in your church services every Sunday.  Lord, you are good. You are gracious. You truly are awesome!  We lift all thanks and praise and glory to you, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Adelyn, thank you so much for chatting with me.  It has been an amazing week of VBS with you and your friends, and your brother. What is one of your favorite parts of VBS?

Adelyn:  Games and Bible Adventures.
